DONES-FLUX Project
ASENSE participates in the DONES-FLUX project, a key commitment to industrial technological innovation in the field of nuclear fusion.
We are pleased to share ASENSE’s (formerly Ase Optics Europe) involvement in DONES-FLUX, an R&D&I project focused on optimizing the efficiency of large scientific facilities such as IFMIF-DONES, a pioneering infrastructure in the development of nuclear fusion technologies.
DONES-FLUX, led by HI-Iberia and in which we participate alongside DEM Barcelona, EDAIR Technologies, Leading Metal-Mechanic Solutions, and SUPRASYS, seeks to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce risks in the operation and maintenance of these facilities, which are especially relevant in the current context of energy transition.
The project addresses the development of intelligent systems for energy management, advanced particle and lithium flow control, and the integration of artificial intelligence to optimize neutron flux. These solutions, in addition to being essential for IFMIF-DONES, are applicable to other major scientific and industrial infrastructures.
DONES-FLUX was recently presented at the I+Dones Forum, a key meeting for innovation and collaboration between science and industry, held in Granada. This forum allowed participants to share the project’s main challenges and opportunities, as well as establish strategic alliances to continue driving technological innovation in our country.
