MINALEM – CDTI Eurostars 2
MINALEM is a project supported by Eurostars-2 and the Spanish Center for Technological Development (CDTI). The objective is to design and develop new optical components to improve light shaping and efficiency using micro- and nanostructured surface diffusers.
ASENSE contributes to this project with its knowledge and experience in optical design and engineering:
- Specification of system requirements from the perspective of optical feasibility.
- Evaluation of the optical properties in terms of beam shaping of the different materials that the other partners have preselected for the manufacturing process.
- ASENSE will investigate various tolerance analysis methods in optical simulation and optimization processes to ensure design compatibility with the manufacturing process.
- ASENSE reviews and monitors the entire validation process in relation to the optical performance of the system.
- Internal testing will be conducted to evaluate the optical performance of initial prototypes.
- It will also be responsible for defining specific optical performance and performing appropriate characterization tests for specific parameters, the most relevant for improving the modeling of optical systems.
The MINALEM project consortium is made up of four entities coordinated by Laintec A.I.E, the research centre of the Daisalux Group (Spain), Bartenbach (Austria), ASENSE (Spain) and Profactor (Austria), with the collaboration of IK4-Tekniker (Spain).
