Prodol Meditec required an improvement in the design of the optical system to obtain clear and accurate diagnoses. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Design challenges &#8211; our work in optical design<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The housing requirements were strict, as the system had to be ergonomically compatible with the characteristics of that area of \u200b\u200bthe human body (the respiratory system). ASENSE optimized the <strong><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aseoptics.com\/sistemas-opticos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">optical system<\/a><\/strong> to obtain high-quality images in both direct view and digital camera modes. <\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the Prodol Meditec engineering team, our optical engineers translated their requirements into concrete specifications for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aseoptics.com\/sistemas-opticos\/diseno-optico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">optical design<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resolution improvement of an order of magnitude.<\/li>\n<li>44% improvement in viewing angle width.<\/li>\n<li>Easier to use
