{"id":13024,"date":"2022-09-11T07:45:54","date_gmt":"2022-09-11T05:45:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aseoptics.com\/event-photonics-at-final-frontier\/"},"modified":"2025-06-10T10:29:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T08:29:33","slug":"event-photonics-at-final-frontier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asensenova.com\/en\/event-photonics-at-final-frontier\/","title":{"rendered":"Event: &#8220;Photonics at final Frontier&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 13th and 14th we will attend the event \u201cPhotonics at final Frontier\u201d to be held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>European Space Agency (ESA)<\/strong><\/a> and organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/epic-assoc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>EPIC &#8211; European Photonics Industry Consortium<\/strong><\/a>. In this face-to-face meeting, information will be shared on how photonics is becoming a key technology within the space engineering sector and will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions on the technologies that are currently targeting new space applications. The design and development of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aseoptics.com\/sectores-y-aplicaciones\/optica-aplicaciones-aeroespaciales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>optics for aerospace applications and space instrumentation<\/strong><\/a> is one of ASENSE Europe&#8217;s fields of expertise. For example, our role in the design and development of a custom SWIR lens for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iac.es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Instituto de Astrof\u00edsica de Canarias (IAC)<\/strong><\/a> to be incorporated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iac.es\/es\/divulgacion\/noticias\/arranca-la-segunda-fase-de-la-mision-alisio-1-que-llevara-al-espacio-la-ultima-version-de-la-camara\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>DRAGO-2<\/strong><\/a> camera within the framework of its ALISIO-1 mission; or our participation in the <a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aseoptics.com\/proyecto-morera-missiones-cdti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MORERA<\/strong><\/a> project, a pioneering project in irrigation monitoring through the development of new space sensors. <a href=\"mailto:in**@*******cs.com\" data-original-string=\"I99+8hNuJF4a6A6JwrY2aw==fa4jeKN2McmL8YhRZ2sbsSZ6mJrNS78BqzgLAkownMHgew=\" title=\"This contact has been encoded by Anti-Spam by CleanTalk.
