ASENSE Sustainability Policy

ASENSE works to improve its corporate sustainability, which, in addition to generating financial profitability, creates environmental, social, and economic value in the medium and long term, thus contributing to the progress and well-being of the communities where it operates and their future generations. As best practices outlined by the Global Compact, the Spanish ASENSE Network has worked to implement a series of changes within our work area to contribute, to the extent possible, to the sustainability of our planet.

Energy optimization system

1. At the end of the workday, the electrical system is disconnected to prevent unnecessary appliances from being switched on.
2. All lighting will be retrofitted in 2023, switching to LED lighting and ensuring that old lights are properly recycled.
3. Installation of automatic on/off lights in passageways and restrooms with motion detectors.
4. Installation of solar panels on the main glass facade to optimize the company’s air conditioning.
5. We promote the efficient and responsible use of natural resources, including water, energy, and raw materials, in our company.

Recycling system

1. Our company has a series of containers for internal recycling.
2. The limited waste we work with and the minimal waste we generate, as we purchase based on need and don’t stock up on large quantities, are deposited at our local recycling centers.
3. The company works as much as possible with digital documentation to reduce paper consumption.

Other relevant actions

1. The company’s key location, with access to various public transportation options and close to the airport, facilitates the mobility of both internal staff and potential visitors.
2. Flexible hours and the option to work remotely, to facilitate work-life balance for our employees.
3. Meetings via video call to reduce in-person travel and associated commutes, allowing for maximum workday utilization.
