WATERSENS

ASENSE is one of the members of the consortium created to develop a modular and portable device for the rapid, on-site analysis of pathogens in water samples, called WaterSense.

Our participation in this project focuses on the development of the control software and user interface for the fluorescence cytometer reader, which is key to industrializing the device and turning it into a commercial product.

The goal of WaterSense is to ensure that the results of pathogen analysis in water samples have extremely high specificity and precision, comparable to those reported by any accredited laboratory, complying with current operating protocols and regulations, and enabling rapid decision-making in water environmental monitoring operations.

This collaborative innovation project, formed by the companies ASENSE, Iberosolve, Alter Technology, and Sixsenso, is promoted by SECPHO and has benefited from Next Generation EU funds channeled by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism.
