Abstract: ASENSE (www.asensenova.com) is an optical engineering company specializing in the design and development of custom optical systems. Dr. Thomas Siegel will present the technical capabilities of ASE Optics and some of the collaborative projects in which ASENSE has participated over the years. ASENSE has designed optical systems for French institutions such as ESRF or ITER, and has collaborated as an SME partner on publicly funded projects with academic partners such as ETH (Zurich), DIT (Dublin), or ICFO (Spain). ASENSE will present potential collaboration avenues as active partners in a consortium or as contractors or subcontractors. ASE has the design capabilities and expertise to develop functional subsystems deployable in research setups or to help industrialize designs with a view to commercializing academic discoveries.
